Been there, done that, and got the t-shirt… Well tank top in this case. Lumber Punks Axe Throwing located near West End… Seems everything is near or in West End in Brissy. At least anything worth doing or seeing for the Young Turks in town. Any who… Not my first go with throwing axes but this round was defiantly my worst. With Hospo mates and Gabe with me we all met and got a tutorial on the how to not die throwing the sharp wood choppers. Some safety rules too were mentioned… I think.
Like I said, this was my worst time, and I think I made the damn thing sink in maybe 2 or 3 times whilst Gabe was a natural. Seriously, this I couldn’t have been more (in equal measures) humbled and proud of how quickly he took to toss axes. If this was a round of dodge ball… Yeah that wood would have defiantly been out within seconds. As for me… At least I got the tank top to remind me of that adventure. All had a fit time, and the place is worth a go if you find yourself wanting on a summer night in Brissy. Or if you just need some anger management therapy.
